It is important to note that Switzerland drinking age laws can vary between Cantons (State / County).
In general there is no minimum age to consume alcohol.
The minimum age to purchase beer and wine varies between areas and is 14 - 16 years of age, the minimum age to puchase spirits is 18 years of age.

The minimum age to purchase or consume alcohol is 18 for alcohol upto 22% ABV and 20 years of age for alcohol over 22% ABV.
Its also interesting to note that beer, cider and Smirnoff Ice can be bought in most general stores, however all alcoholic drinks above 4.7% must be bought at ‘The Wine Monopoly’

The legal age to drink and purchase Alcohol in Greece is 16.
There is virtually no enforcement of the drinking laws in Greece.

The minimum legal drinking and purchasing age in Belgium is 16.
However there are no restrictions on drinking in private with a parent or guardian present.
There are no age restrictions relating to the purchasing or beer or wine in shops at all, and virtually no enforcement on any of the drinking laws throughout the country.

The legal drinking age in Austria is 16 (18 for hard liquor).
There are however some notable exceptions:
From the age of 14 minors can consume alcohol that is provided by their parents.
In Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland the legal age for all types of alchol is 16. (Including liquor)
