The minimum age to purchase and consume alcohol in Iceland is 20 years of age.

The consumption of alchol by persons over 18 is generally accepted.

It is interesting to note that being a minor and in posession of alchol is not an offence, it is only an offence to supply alcohol to a minor. The alchol in the possession of a minor can be confiscated.
